This seminar is designed for those scheduled for a hip or knee joint replacement or for those considering any type of surgery in the future. We will help patients prepare their home, medications and set expectations for a safe recovery following a joint replacement or surgery . An educated patient is a patient who recovers quickly, gets back to normal life activities faster and is more satisfied with their joint replacement.
Our seminar is taught by licensed Physical Therapists and Registered Nurses and is offered free of charge to all who are interested. It is recommended to be educated about the process approximately 3 to 4 weeks prior surgery.
Participants will be informed of:
Patients will also have the opportunity to meet other people considering joint replacement and ask questions regarding the process and recovery.
Please contact Virginia Hayward 805-517-1620 or Virginiah@tlchomehospice.com
